Sunrise Magic at Hierve el Agua

Discover one of Oaxaca’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the most unforgettable way. Your adventure begins in the afternoon at 4:30 pm with a scenic drive into the mountains. Get to a quiet campsite in Hierve el Agua, enjoy the evening while our team sets up the camp, savor a delicious local dinner (included) as night falls and fall asleep surrounded by nature beneath the stars. Worry-free camping: Tent, warm sleeping bag and comfy sleeping mat will be provided. Wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise paint the mountains in gold — a truly magical sight. After the sunrise, savor a freshly prepared local breakfast (included), featuring regional flavors and hot coffee. Afterward, we’ll hike the full circuit trail around stunning rock formations, hike down to the base to see them from below. We'll continue the hike up to stunning view points without missing a thing! Finish the hike by the mineral-rich spring pools and take a refreshing swim after the hike. After your adventure, we’ll head to Tlacolula Market, one of Oaxaca’s most vibrant and authentic local markets. There, you’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Oaxacan lunch, with options like barbacoa, huaraches, grilled meats, tlayudas, quesadillas, memelitas and fresh tortillas — the perfect way to celebrate the end of your journey. Get back to Oaxaca at 2:30 pm approx. the following day. Perfect for adventure lovers and anyone seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.
